Women's Advent brunch

Saturday, December 13th | 10:00am - 1:00pm
Ladies are encourage to "host" a table and invite 4-7 other women. In their group they will bring all of the food, dishes and any decor they would like to make their table pretty. Coffee, juice, tea and water will be provided. There is no cost to attend but registration is required.

Our guest speaker will be author and speaker Sheri Wohlfert
Sheri is a passionate, joyful, coffee-loving daughter of God! She uses her great sense of humor and her deep faith to help others discover the joy of being a child of God. Her roots are in Kansas, but her home is in Westphalia, Michigan. Sheri and her husband Dave have been married more than thirty years. She is the mother of three adult children and the grandmother of three adorable little humans! Sheri has a degree in Secondary education from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Her faith is authentic, her attitude is contagious, and her approach is down to earth, relatable, humorous, and real. If you’re looking for a presenter who can leave the audience laughing, praying, thinking and equipped with practical tools to go out and live the Gospel, Sheri is the presenter you’re looking for. Do It Grandly Seminar and Formation in Virtues
GRANDPARENTS…Do YOU Want to Be Able to Pass Your FAITH in JESUS on to YOUR GRANDCHILDREN? Are You Frustrated Because You Don’t Know How To Pass Your Faith on to Your Grandchildren
Grandly helps Grandparents fulfill their God-given role to pass on their Faith to their grandchildren. It gives them vision, hope, methods and personal support, drawing on the principles of youth work, with insights shared by other grandparents.
This Grandly Seminar also will incorporate Educating and Forming Grandparents in VIRTUES, habits that enable us to know what is good and love what is true, as developed by Sr. John Dominic, Dominican Sisters of Mary of the Eucharist.
Combining the strategic Grandparenting principles in Grandly with the education and formation in Virtues equips Grandparents to know how to pass on their Faith in Jesus to their grandchildren.
This Do It Grandly Seminar and Formation in Virtues event is for All Grandparents. Plan to come to this event to listen to the presentation and join in small group discussions to practice what you learn!
