Parish Councils

1. Mass attendance is up at both St. Thomas Aquinas and St. John Student Center! Around 30 people will be entering the Church at the Easter Vigil this year; 6 of them are children. Another 20 people have begun the process to join next year.
2. There are several regular opportunities for formation and fellowship: Monthly Senior Mass and Ministry, First Saturday Presentations, Hallow subscriptions, First Wednesday Organ Recitals, etc.
3. Stations of the Cross are offered during Lent at 12:15pm at SJSC and at 7:00pm at STA (right after the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry in the Parish School Gym!).
4. The televised Outreach Mass celebrated 40 years of broadcasting this December! The Outreach Mass reaches well over 5,000 people each week.
5. We have many ministries out in the community providing help to those who need it most. Check out the Walking with Moms in Need group, either of the St. Vincent de Paul conferences, and our Knights of Columbus groups.
6. Our Parish School opened its doors for its 75th school year and provides Catholic Education to 341 pre-school through 8th grade students!
7. This year, through the Light the Way campaign, the Heritage Gala for Campus Ministry, and the Parish School 75th Anniversary, our community gave over $430,000!
8. Last summer the parish kicked-off a multi-year facelift for our Parish School that will continue this year with classroom renovations, a new secured office vestibule, and more!
9. We are working through the upcoming Stewardship for Saints and Scholars, and through our parish budget to complete crucial capital projects in our churches and school buildings.
