Fr. Karl Pung

Fr. Karl Pung was ordained in 1997 and spent the first three years of his priesthood serving as the parochial vicar of St. Thomas Aquinas under Msgr. Murphy and then Msgr. Stotenbur. Following Msgr. Stotenbur's death, he was moved to St. Agnes in Fowlerville, where he served for three years. He studied in Rome for two years at the Pontifical Gregorian University and received his STL in Spiritual Theology. Upon his return, he spent a year at the diocese as Chair of the Formation Department. He has also served at St. Patrick  for 11 years and St. Mary Cathedral for 9 years.
